Kim has a desire to support other people and organizations in the local community and has assisted in the following ways:

1. Relay For Life - Fundraiser and support – 24 hrs fun run and walk for cancer survivor, carers and teams – 2002 – 2008 – Master Of Ceremonies, Ceremony Coordinator, Cancer Survivor Liasion and support, Pamper team coordinator 2008 and sponsor of the event with free weekends at Waymount Farm – spirited life retreat for teams. www.relayforlife.org.au

2. Everafter - a support group for young widows with young children. Retreats offered free of charge at Waymount Farm with child minding support and catering. www.everafterwidowed.com

3. Miranda Salvos - Golf Fundraiser 2008 – donated Waymount Farm as an auction prize to assist Miranda Salvation Army Church to raise funds to build their new church premises to assist the local community with welfare and support services.

4. The Sisters and Brothers Domestic Violence Service - Kim has received funding from Sutherland Shire Council Local Grants Scheme in January 2009, to set up a service for women, men and families affected by domestic violence through The Well Healing Rooms www.sistersandbrothers.org.au. Services offered are subsidized counselling, Shine courses to increase self esteem and build resilience, Kids with Courage to assist kids with emotional coping and resilience, retreats at Waymount Farm for women and children to rest and have fun in a safe environment and ongoing support of a women and children’s refuge with craft groups and pampering days. A mobile pamper team is part of the project and offers massage and pampering to community organizations free of charge through the therapists at the Well Healing Rooms www.thewellhealingrooms.com and volunteers from Kingsway Community Church www.kingsway.org.au

5. Jacaranda Cottage - Waymount Farm has donated accommodation prizes and supported fundraising for this young women’s refuge for ages 18 – 25 yrs in the Sutherland Shire in 2008. www.jacaranda.org.au

6. Project Beetle Walk - www.projectbeetlewalk.com Donated Waymount Farm as a fundraiser to their Golf Day 2009, to enable a young local Dad receive assistance in walking again after a work accident causing paraplegia.

7. Burraneer Bay Public School - Spring Fair 2009 – donated Waymount Farm as an auction prize to assist the local school to provide funds for their local children.

8. Donated Waymount Farm as an auction prize for the Cook Community Classic 2009 to raise funds for local charities in the Sutherland Shire in Sydney. www.cookcommunityclassic.com.au
